"Discover Teide National Park in a unique experience under the starry mantle of the Canary sky! Our main goal is to delight in the tranquility of the Park in the afternoon and enjoy one of the most spectacular skies for stargazing."

Your excursion:

In this excursion, we will enjoy the tranquility of the National Park in the afternoon and experience one of the best skies for stargazing. Tenerife is home to 83 of the 88 constellations that form the sky, and the main goal of the excursion is to enjoy the sky as our ancestors did, observing the sky with the naked eye, enjoying the stories, and discovering the constellations under the guidance of our starlight guides.

We will head towards Teide National Park, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, which is one of the most spectacular manifestations of volcanism in the world. Its summit represents the highest peak in Spain, at 3,718 meters. We will access the park through the mountain of La Esperanza and stop at the viewpoint to enjoy the views towards the Valle de La Orotava.

Once we reach the National Park, we will be able to see the Queen’s Shoe, the Narices del Teide, the Llano de Ucanca Viewpoint, and the Roques de García, from where we can admire Pico Viejo and the majestic Teide, structures that are unique on the planet. The hundreds of cones, lava flows, and caves enrich its scientific and landscape interest. Additionally, we must highlight the richness of the many endemic species of fauna and flora in the Park.

After some free time at the Roques, we will head to a viewpoint to enjoy the sunset. Once the sun sets, we will have dinner at the restaurant, which has a large terrace, so that after dinner, we can step outside and enjoy the vast night sky. The starlight guide will explain the stars and constellations we are seeing, depending on the time of year, and will point them out with a laser pointer, so we don’t miss anything from this wonderful natural spectacle.

Once the stargazing is over, we will return to the hotels.
