TEIDE MASCA GARACHICO ICOD
Your excursion:
We will depart towards Teide National Park, passing through the municipality of Vilaflor, where we will make a short stop. We will then arrive at Teide National Park, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007. Its summit is the highest peak in Spain and is one of the most spectacular volcanic formations in the world, as well as in the Canary Islands. From a geomorphological perspective, it is a true wonder of nature. The structure of the caldera and the Teide-Pico Viejo stratovolcano is unique on the planet.
However, its value goes beyond that, as the hundreds of volcanic cones, lava flows, and caves further enhance its scientific and scenic significance. During our visit, we will see Montaña Blanca (situated at an altitude of 2,373 meters), Piedra Pómez, La Ruleta, Los Roques de García, and the Llano de Ucanca viewpoint.
Next, we will continue to Icod de los Vinos to see the famous Drago Milenario. After that, we will head to Garachico, also known as Villa y Puerto de Garachico, where we will have time to explore the historic center.
To conclude the excursion, we will visit Masca Hamlet, located within the Teno Rural Park, where we will have free time to admire the stunning landscape.
Finally, we will return to the hotels.
