Your excursion:

We will depart from Puerto de la Cruz towards Teide National Park, ascending through the municipality of La Orotava. We will cross the entire forested area of the Orotava Valley and make a brief stop at La Margarita de Piedra to take photos and enjoy the panoramic view of the valley from the viewpoint.

Next, we will arrive at Teide National Park, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007. Its summit is the highest peak in Spain and represents one of the most spectacular volcanic formations in the world and, of course, in the Canary Islands. From a geomorphological perspective, it is a true wonder of nature. The caldera structure and the stratovolcano Teide - Pico Viejo are unique on the planet. However, its value does not end there, as the hundreds of cones, lava flows, and caves further enhance its scientific and scenic interest.

We will visit Montaña Blanca (located at 2,373 meters above sea level), Piedra Pómez, La Ruleta, Los Roques de García, the Llano de Ucanca viewpoint, and continue towards Boca Tauce, Chío, and Guía de Isora, with its rugged terrain shaped by volcanic activity in the area.

We will make a short stop at the Pico Viejo Viewpoint to enjoy breathtaking views, and if weather conditions allow, we will see the islands of La Gomera, La Palma, and El Hierro.

Once in the municipality of Guía de Isora, we will pass through the Arguayo neighborhood, arriving at the municipality of Santiago del Teide, Cherfe Viewpoint, and then descending towards the Masca hamlet (located in the Teno Rural Park), where we will have free time.

We will take the road through El Palmar (Buenavista) until we reach the town and port of Garachico, where we will have time to visit the historic center. Then, we will head towards the municipality of Icod to visit its famous "Drago Milenario" (Millennial Dragon Tree).

Finally, we will return to Puerto de la Cruz, passing through the municipalities of San Juan de la Rambla and Los Realejos.
