Your excursion:

We depart from Puerto de la Cruz towards the town of La Orotava, the only city in the Canary Islands with a historic center that is almost entirely intact, which is why it has been declared a historic ensemble. Its charming and welcoming old town, with many cobblestone streets, makes walking through it a pleasant experience that transports you to past eras. Here, we will take a short walk through the historic center, where we will visit the Town Hall Square and its surroundings, marveling at the views offered by this wonderful place.

From here, we will head towards Teide National Park, making the necessary stops at the most important viewpoints, which offer views of the valley, including Puerto de la Cruz and Los Realejos. We will take a tour inside the National Park, seeing the spectacular shapes that the volcanic terrain’s topography has left over time. At Los Roques de García, we will have free time to walk around the designated area and enjoy the breathtaking views. From here, we can admire Pico Viejo and the majestic Teide, structures that are unique on the planet. The hundreds of cones, lava flows, and caves enrich the scientific and scenic interest of the park. To all this, we must add the richness of the endemic fauna and flora found in the park.

After visiting the National Park, we will have free time for lunch (not included). To end the excursion, we will return via the dorsal mountain range, descending through Monte de La Esperanza, where we will enjoy wonderful views.

Optional: If desired and subject to availability, you can access the cable car. Please note that if you choose this option, you will miss parts of the National Park.
